What are Anchor Prices?

Modified on Mon, 27 Oct at 9:07 AM

Anchor Prices refer to shelf prices established in accordance with the Croatian Government’s Decision of 15 May 2025 on the publication of price lists and the display of additional prices as a measure of direct price control in retail.

This measure requires retailers to clearly, visibly, and legibly display an additional price alongside the retail price of a product at the point of sale. The additional price represents the price applied to that product on 2 May 2025, enabling consumers to monitor price changes and make informed purchasing decisions, thereby protecting their economic rights.

The Decision applies exclusively to the following product categories: food, beverages, cosmetics, cleaning products, toiletries, and household items.
