What does the recruitment process at METRO look like?

In our company, the selection process is not just a step towards employment - it is an opportunity to get to know each other. We want each candidate to get a clear picture of the workplace, team and culture, while at the same time we learn more about your experience, motivation and skills.


The process varies depending on the type of position:


*Positions in wholesale stores


The interview takes place live at the store, where we present the candidate's working conditions, team and daily tasks. Also, candidates have the opportunity to ask questions and get all the necessary information firsthand.


*Positions in the management


The first round is usually online introduction meeting, an opportunity to introduce ourselves and exchange basic information.

The second round takes place live in the management premises, with a focus on professional competencies and team dynamics.

During the interview, we are particularly interested in:


- Your work experience and professional path

- motivation to work in our team

- skills such as teamwork, organization, communication and independence


Our goal is to create an open and enjoyable process in which both parties can present themselves. We believe that the best team is the one that is built on mutual understanding, trust and shared values.
